- 5 years of industry experience, prior crew chief experience is preferred
- PS not required, but is preferred
- Proficient with multiple types of land survey field work, including Topographic/Existing Conditions, Boundary, ALTA, Construction Layout
- AutoCAD Civil 3D and Trimble product experience desired
- Strong communication skills (listening, writing and verbal)
- Proven work history, strong work ethic, and team-player attitude
- Ability to work in all-weather climates
- Oversees the daily field operations of a survey crew
- Conduct land surveys and construction staking
- Organize and maintain field crew efficiency in meeting work schedules
- Accurately calculate and record field data
- Oversee and direct the operations of the project
- Maintain equipment and keep proper records of maintenance and repairs
- Train assigned personnel in the operations of equipment and procedures
- Monitoring work for compliance with plans and specifications
- Preparing written reports, calculations, client interface, and related work items
- Construction Staking of heavy highway, water & wastewater works, underground utility installation, and municipal infrastructure improvements
- Applicant must be willing to travel throughout Northeast Ohio
